Jon Davis Counselling

It's been a tough three or four years for us all.

At this time of year, you may find yourself reflecting on how you (or a loved one) have been changed by what we've been through.

You may find your feelings have changed about work, family life or life in general. Or you may be experiencing new feelings or emotions that you would like to explore.

I provide a safe space where we can discuss these thoughts and feelings, understand where they come from and what we can do together to lower their impact on your life.

How does counselling help?

In our sessions together we can talk about any thoughts you're having or emotions you are feeling.  We can work towards understanding these thoughts and emotions and how we can limit their impact on your life.

We do this at your pace in a safe and confidential space, either face to face (at Clapham Junction, Clapham North, Kensington or Wimbledon) or online using Google Meet or MS Teams.

You may find it difficult to talk about yourself with someone you don't know, however we will quickly develop a trust which will overcome any initial concerns.  Longer term therapy can help you understand yourself at a deeper level and can also help develop a clearer sense of who you are as a person and how past events have shaped your present self.

I am trained as an Integrative counsellor, which allows me to use different counselling models and techniques tailored to you.  This ensures you gain the most from our sessions together.

I work with adults (18+) in the following areas:

   - Anxiety

   - Stress

   - Intrusive or troubling thoughts

   - Anger and frustration

   - Panic attacks

   - Post-COVID anxiety

   - Post-COVID workplace issues

Sessions are usually 50 minutes in duration and can be weekly or every two weeks - whatever best suits you.  We can discuss this at our first meeting.
